Contract enforcement and breach claims

When a party fails to perform its obligations under a contract, you may be entitled to compensation or to an order compelling performance. We act for parties enforcing their rights and for parties defending a claim for breach.

Common remedies

  • Damages for loss caused by the breach
  • Specific performance: an order that the contract be carried out, where the court considers it appropriate
  • Recovery of deposits or sums paid, and claims for agreed sums due
  • Termination of the contract and related declarations

Act promptly

Claims in contract are subject to time limits. Seeking advice early helps preserve evidence and your options.
